0900 hrs, 27 Oct 2010, we left Solomons Islands, destination Horns Hbr.
with predicated winds of 15-20, and 2-3 seas. bearing course was
170 m with changes as we went along.
The day was beautiful, sunny, and nice temp. shorts and short sleeve shirt.
The winds never did build as predicated, and neither the sea...go figure,
take a chance and get lucky, but we had plans to duck in if it got nasty.
1740 hrs arrived Horns Hbr, very shallow entrance(not for sail boats)
unless you have a "cat". Picked a spot up the Hbr and set the anchor,
enjoyed the view and wonderful sun set, photo attached.. Had supper
with plans on leaving early the next day. Winds now shifting to NW.
